Our Programs
At Strength 2 You, we offer a variety of fitness programs designed to meet the needs of all members of our community:
Family Fitness: A fun and engaging program where families can exercise together, strengthening both their bodies and their bonds.
Senior Wellness and Mobility: Tailored exercises for seniors focusing on improving strength, balance, and flexibility to support independence and mobility.
Young Adult/Youth Programs: Programs aimed at empowering young people to build healthy fitness habits, stay active, and engage in positive social interactions.
Cross-Training for Sports: This program combines elements of strength training, agility, and endurance to enhance athletic performance across multiple sports disciplines.
Each of our programs is designed to be accessible to all, with the goal of promoting health and wellness throughout the entire community.

Peer Support
Strength 2 You is a community-based mutual aid platform dedicated to bringing fitness and nutrition to low-income residents of our city. Our innovative approach centers on peer support, empowering individuals to learn skills to manage their health independently.
We provide free access to fitness and sporting equipment at local parks and will soon offer regular fitness classes. The nutrition component is supported by our Gran Vida Food Cooperative, which provides nutrition peer support, cooking instruction classes, a bulk food buyers club, and healthy prepared meals.
Peer support is crucial; we pair residents with Fitness and Nutrition Peer Support Specialists (FNPSS) who share similar backgrounds. This fosters relatability and comfort. Our FNPSS staff are trained and certified by ASSI, ensuring they receive top-notch education.
